Joshua Jepsen

SVP & CFO at John Deere

Josh Jepsen is Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, a position he has held since September 2022. He is responsible for advising the chief executive officer and other leaders on major financial and strategic issues. He manages the worldwide accounting and finance function, including enterprise efforts related to sustainability.

Jepsen began his career in 1999 as an intern at the company’s engine factory in Torreon, Mexico. He later served in internal audit, accounting, and financial-analysis roles in several locations, including the Ottumwa, Augusta, and Waterloo factories and the North American sales and marketing office. He also spent two years in the Construction & Forestry division as manager of commercial development outside the United States and Canada. He moved to Singapore in 2013 as controller for the company’s Asia-Pacific and Africa operations. Jepsen joined the investor relations team as manager of investor communications in 2015 and three years later became Director, Investor Relations. He was named Deputy Financial Officer in March 2022.

Jepsen earned degrees in accounting and Spanish from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. He holds certificates in international business and Portuguese.
