Katie W. has worked in the Human Resources field since 2006. Katie began their career at The Country Club of Peoria, where they managed managerial and administrative human resource functions such as recruiting, new hire onboarding, health insurance & benefits, FMLA, Workers Comp, handbook policies, monthly newsletters, staff training sessions, employee parties, employee relations, and OSHA records. Katie also served as the Safety Committee Chair in 2007 and Safety Committee Secretary from 2007-2012, as well as Web Communications & Activity Calendar. In 2012, they moved to Supply Chain Services International (SCSI, LLC) as a Human Resource Specialist, where they specialized in employee recognition program, communication, unemployment, & safety compliance. In 2013, they moved to Brewers Distributing as a Human Resources Manager. In 2019, they joined Grey Eagle Distributors as Human Resources Director, where they were responsible for developing teams and executing high quality standards through human resource strategy. Most recently, in 2021, they joined John Henry Foster as Executive Assistant To The President, where they are responsible for various professional Executive, HR, and team support.

Katie W. has a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. Katie also has three certifications: the SHRM Foundation's Veterans at Work Certificate from the SHRM Foundation obtained in March 2019, SHRM-CP from SHRM obtained in January 2015, and PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI obtained in December 2010.
