Jim McAlpine

Jim McAlpine has over 30 years of experience in the transport and operations industry, with roles ranging from Supervisor to Operations Director. Jim has worked with companies such as Serco, SNC-Lavalin, and John Holland, where Jim currently serves as the Head of Rail Operations. Jim's expertise lies in planning, implementing, and monitoring operational performance to maximize financial return and improve customer service in rail operations. Prior to their current role, Jim has held various leadership positions in the transportation sector, including acting as General Manager, Asset System Manager, and Project Manager on international projects. Jim's extensive experience also includes managing the operational planning and delivery of major events like the Olympics and Paralympics.
