Barrie Wilkinson

Barrie Wilkinson is an experienced research leader currently serving as Group Leader at the John Innes Centre since March 2013. Previously, Barrie held key positions at Biotica from January 2001 to January 2013, including Vice President of Research and Development and Director of Natural Products Chemistry. Barrie’s early career included a role as Senior Research Scientist at GSK from January 1997 to December 2000 and postdoctoral research positions at the University of Cambridge (1995-1997) and the University of Washington (January 1994 - August 1995). Barrie holds a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Leeds, earned between 1987 and 1993.
