Francesca Stefanato

Francesca Stefanato has a range of work experience in various research positions. Francesca is currently working as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the John Innes Centre since February 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Assistant at The Sainsbury Laboratory. In 2018, they worked at Norwich Research Park as a Health and Safety Support for a period of six months. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the John Innes Centre. Before that, they worked as a Postdoc Researcher at NIAB from 2013 to 2015. Francesca also held the position of Postdoc at the John Innes Centre from 2010 to 2013. Francesca started their research career as a Researcher at the University of Fribourg from 2006 to 2009. Francesca began their research journey as a Pre-doc Researcher at Wageningen UR (University & Research Centre) from 1999 to 2001.

Francesca Stefanato earned a PhD in plant pathology from Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.
