Yeshveer Singh

Postdoctoral Scientist at John Innes Centre

Yeshveer Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and plant genetics. Yeshveer began their career as a Junior Research Fellow at the Central Drug Research Institute in Lucknow in January 2014. Yeshveer then moved on to the National Institute of Plant Genome Research, where they worked as a Doctoral Fellow from July 2015 to January 2022. After completing their doctorate, Yeshveer joined the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology as a Postdoctoral Research Associate from April 2022 to April 2023. Currently, they are working as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the John Innes Centre, starting in May 2023.

Yeshveer Singh completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biology at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University from 2008 to 2011. Yeshveer then pursued a Master's Degree in Plant Biotechnology at Banaras Hindu University from 2011 to 2013. Following this, they enrolled at Jawaharlal Nehru University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Plant Biology and Biotechnology from 2015 to 2022.
