Imani Perera

Imani Perera has extensive work experience in the field of learning and development. They started their career in 2007 at Hayleys Group, where they held various roles, including Management Trainee/Executive, Senior Executive, and Assistant Manager in the Training and Development department. In 2013, they joined Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd as an Assistant Manager in Trade Marketing. In 2014, they moved on to 3rd Wave Group as a Manager in Business Development and Senior Consultant. Most recently, they have been working at John Keells Holdings PLC since 2016, initially as a Manager and later as an AVP, and currently as the Vice President – Head of Learning and Development.

Imani Perera has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colombo. Imani also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in English Language and Literature, Sociology, and International Relations from the same university. In addition, they have a Diploma in Marketing (Dip.M., ACIM) from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Imani has completed a Strategic HR Management Course at the National University of Singapore. Imani received their primary and secondary education at St. Bridget's Convent, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
