Dan Silksmith

Dan Silksmith is a seasoned enterprise architect with extensive experience in the retail sector, currently serving as the Lead Business Platform Enterprise Architect at John Lewis Partnership since July 2017. In this role, Dan leads the discovery of new product platforms, champions design and systems thinking, and provides GenAI architecture consulting. Prior to this position, Dan held several key roles at John Lewis, including Lead Customer Enterprise Architect and Lead Insight & Innovation Enterprise Architect, where responsibilities ranged from developing technology roadmaps to enhancing technology innovation capabilities. Dan's career also includes technical consultancy at Deloitte and BAE Systems, with a strong foundation in systems engineering and data science education from Birkbeck, University of London and Loughborough University.
