Marija Rompani

Marija Rompani is an experienced professional in ethics and sustainability, currently serving as the Director of Ethics and Sustainability at John Lewis Partnership since January 2021. In addition, Marija holds trustee positions at the Henley Festival and the John Lewis Partnership Foundation Nature Fund, focusing on charitable projects that support those in need. Prior experience includes roles in ESG Stewardship & Engagement at Federated Hermes Limited, Group Corporate Responsibility Manager at Sainsbury's, and Global Directors at RB, where expertise encompassed environmental and human rights strategies. Marija's career began at UBS as the Director, Head of Environment Europe & MEA, and included prior positions at BSI and the Institute of Science and Technology in environmental consultancy. Marija holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
