Michael Bell

Michael Bell has a strong background in accounting and financial services. Michael began their career as an Assurance Staff at EY in 2010 and worked their way up to Assurance Manager and eventually Financial Accounting Advisory Services Senior Manager. Michael held various roles within the Financial Services Organization at EY, gaining experience in both assurance and advisory services. In April 2021, they transitioned to John Marshall Bank where they currently hold the position of SVP, Chief Accounting Officer.

Michael Bell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, and Information Systems from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business in 2009. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from the same institution, which they completed in 2010. Additionally, Michael holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from both the Virginia Board of Accountancy and the District of Columbia Board of Accountancy.
