Pamela De Candio has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Pamela began their career in 1995 as an Assistant Branch Manager at Franklin National Bank. Pamela then moved on to Virginia Commerce Bank, where they held the position of Senior Vice President from 1997 to 2007. Pamela later joined Burke & Herbert Bank as Vice President and worked there until December 2010. In November 2010, they joined John Marshall Bank as a Senior Vice President in Commercial Lending and has remained in this role. Throughout their career, Pamela has also been involved in various organizations, such as the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce, the Alexandria Police Foundation, and the American Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. Pamela has served on boards and held leadership positions in these organizations, highlighting their commitment to community involvement. Most recently, in 2019, Pamela became a Member of the Board of Directors for The Rotary Club of Alexandria and was subsequently elected as President in July 2021.

Pamela De Candio attended Georgetown University from 2003 to 2004, studying Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Prior to that, they attended Ft. Hunt High School, although the specific dates are unknown.
