Anna Pizelo

Anna Pizelo is the Southern Regional Director at John Muir Charter Schools. Anna has over 15 years of experience in education, specializing in special education. Anna started their career as an itinerant education specialist, providing special education services to a variety of schools and districts within the Humboldt County area. Anna then became an educational liaison for the Homeless Education Project, where they facilitated the delivery of instruction to homeless students while improving student attendance. In their current role, they oversee the operations of John Muir Charter Schools in southern California.

Anna Pizelo has a B.A. in Social Work from Humboldt State University, a Multiple Subject Credential from California State University, Fresno, and a Master of Science in Educational Administration with a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential from National University. Anna also has a Special Education Level II Credential in Mild to Moderate Disabilities from Humboldt State University. Anna is certified by National University in Administrative Services Preliminary Credential.
