Michael Y. Corbett

Michael Corbett is the owner of Michael Y. Corbett and Associates, a government relations firm that specializes in representing local government entities. Prior to forming his own lobbying firm, Michael served as a coordinating principal consultant for the Assembly Ways and Means Committee and then worked as an advocate for the California State Association of Counties. Michael earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of California at Davis. He also holds an M.A. in Urban Studies from Occidental College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Davis. His educational background includes lecturing in Applied Behavioral Sciences at U.C. Davis and teaching Political Science at Sacramento City College. He holds a community college teaching credential. Michael is appointed to the JMCS Governing Board by the California Conservation Corps.
