Amy Gutierrez

Amy Gutierrez, PharmD, CPEL, serves as the Chief Pharmacy Officer at John Muir Health since May 2025, while also holding academic positions as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California, Adjunct Professor at Chapman University School of Pharmacy, and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. From March 2021 to May 2025, Amy held the role of Vice President of Pharmacy Services at UCHealth. Additionally, Amy has extensive experience with the California Board of Pharmacy, serving in various capacities including President and Vice President, and was the Chief Pharmacy Officer for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services from January 2006 to March 2017. Amy is also a co-host of Hospital Pharmacist Monthly and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Boston University's Questrom School of Business, focusing on pharmacy leadership.
