Jerry Henderson MD MBA FACP has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2004 to 2019, they worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where they held multiple roles including Associate Professor, Director of Informatics, Associate CMIO, and Emergency Physician. During their time there, they focused on utilizing information technology to solve problems in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Jerry also played a key role in developing and implementing a project called Zero-G. Since 2019, they have been working at JPS Health Network as the Chief Medical Information Officer. In this role, they are responsible for leading the organization's transformation to a data-driven business model.

Jerry Henderson MD MBA FACP has a diverse and comprehensive education history. Jerry obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1992. Jerry then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 2001. Following that, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency Program at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 2001 to 2004.

In 2004, they achieved Board Certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Jerry further expanded their expertise by obtaining Board Certification in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) in 2014. Moreover, they became an Epic Certified Physician Builder in 2015, enhancing their proficiency in clinical informatics.

Jerry Henderson pursued advanced studies in business and healthcare management, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business between 2015 and 2017. During this time, they also completed the Value Measurement in Health Care program at Harvard Business School Executive Education.

Jerry Henderson has continued to supplement their qualifications and knowledge through additional certifications. In 2019, they became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, further demonstrating their dedication and expertise in the field. Jerry also acquired the CMIO Survival Guide: Crash Course - The Emerging Role of the CMIO and CHIO certification from HIMSS in 2018. In 2012, they obtained the Copyright Zero-G certification from the U.S. Copyright Office, highlighting their understanding of intellectual property laws.
