Skip McCord

Skip McCord is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in manufacturing, design, and technical support. Currently serving as an Applications & Tooling Engineer at Innovative Tube Equipment Corporation since May 2023 and simultaneously working as a Manufacturing Engineer/Technical Trainer at John W. McDougall Co., Inc., Skip has a strong history of optimizing processes, providing customer support, and driving cost savings through lean principles. Previous roles include Sr. Applications Engineer at HART MACHINE TOOL INC, Lean Coordinator/Process Engineer at Simpson Strong-Tie, and various engineering positions, including Production Supervisor at Hennessy Industries, where significant improvements in productivity and efficiency were achieved. Skip holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Leadership from Middle Tennessee State University and a technical degree in Fabrication and Automotive Technology from Nashville Auto Diesel College.
