Ankit Barik

Ankit Barik, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Research Scientist at The Johns Hopkins University since November 2017, having previously held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher. Prior to this role, Ankit Barik worked at the Max-Planck Institute for Solar System Research from November 2013 to October 2017 as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD student, with earlier experience as a Summer Intern at the same institute in 2011 and 2012. Ankit Barik earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research and the University of Göttingen between 2013 and 2017, along with a Master of Science in Geophysics and Seismology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2008 to 2013.
