Paul Campbell is an accomplished researcher in applied physics with extensive experience in academic and scientific settings. Currently serving as an Assistant Research Scientist and ZEUS Target Area Link Scientist at the University of Michigan since October 2021, Paul has previously held positions including Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Scholar in the DOE Fusion Energy Sciences Postdoctoral Research Program. Paul's earlier research experience includes a role as Graduate Student Research Assistant at the Center for Ultrafast Optical Sciences at the University of Michigan and an internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Paul earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Physics from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from The University of the South.
