Dr. Wayne Rose

Dr. Wayne Rose is a distinguished academic and community leader currently serving as a Lecturer at Morgan State University, where the focus is on American and African Diaspora History. With extensive experience in higher education as an Adjunct Graduate Professor at Jackson State University and a Community Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Rose also plays a significant role in restorative justice initiatives as Secretary General of The UBUNTU Movement USA, Inc. Previous positions include Historian and Ras Tafari Chaplain at the New York State Department of Corrections, and President of the African Heritage Foundation, Inc. Dr. Rose holds a Ph.D. in History from Morgan State University and has contributed to cultural and social development through various organizational roles, including as Chairman of the Board for the Iniversal Development of Ras Tafari, Inc. and during tenure as Program Developer for the African Heritage Foundation.
