Francisca Rojas

Executive Director, Bloomberg Center For Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University

Francisca Rojas currently serves as the Academic Director at the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at The Johns Hopkins University since December 2021. Prior to this role, Rojas held various positions at the Inter-American Development Bank from July 2012 to November 2021, including Housing and Urban Development Lead Specialist and Senior Specialist. Rojas also worked at Harvard University as the Research Director for the Transparency Policy Project and as a Postdoctoral Fellow from September 2010 to July 2012. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Research Assistant at the SENSEable City Lab at MIT and as a Program Manager at the American Institute of Architects. Rojas began professional work as a Project Planner at the DC Office of Planning. Academic achievements include a PhD and a Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science - Urban Studies from the University of Michigan.
