Jayson Schablik

Jayson Schablik serves as the Associate Director of Residential Life at The Johns Hopkins University since September 2020, where responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and supervising two Assistant Directors for the first-year and second-year experience of 2,700 on-campus residents across ten buildings. Jayson has also held the position of Interim Director of Residential Life, providing strategic leadership for the Office of Residential Life, managing nine professional staff and 74 paraprofessional staff. Prior experience includes over eleven years at Towson University, with roles as Assistant Director Of Residence Life and Residence Life Coordinator, focusing on leadership, residential learning, and program development for over 6,000 on-campus students. Jayson holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus, an MPA from the University of Delaware, and a BA in German and World Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
