Katsuyuki Taguchi

Professor Of Radiology, Co-director Of Medical Physics Phd Program at Johns Hopkins University

Katsuyuki (Ken) Taguchi has an extensive background in the field of radiology and medical physics, serving as a Professor of Radiology and Co-Director of the Medical Physics PhD Program at The Johns Hopkins University from May 2012 to September 2019. Prior to this role, Taguchi was involved with Toshiba America Medical Systems as a Senior Imaging Scientist and Senior Specialist from April 1991 to April 2005. Additional experience includes positions as a Visiting Scientist at Bio-Imaging Research Inc from January 2002 to January 2005 and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Utah's Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research. Taguchi holds a Ph.D. in Information Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Tsukuba and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology.
