Lisa Mitchell

Lisa Mitchell, Ed.D., serves as the Director of Education & Audience Engagement at Disney Theatrical Group since 2006, where responsibilities include leading the educational initiatives and developing strategies for audience engagement within the theatrical division of The Walt Disney Company. In addition, Lisa is an Adjunct Faculty member at The Johns Hopkins University, teaching mixed research methods to doctoral students and has previous experience as a teaching assistant and adjunct faculty at City University of New York. Lisa co-founded The If Ensemble Theatre Company, focusing on American playwrights, and has worked as a teaching artist in various theater organizations. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Education in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s degree in Educational Theatre from The City College of New York.
