Parris N. Glendening is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in public service, education, and consulting. Currently serving as Senior Visiting Faculty at The Johns Hopkins University since January 2019, Glendening has also held the position of Senior Advisor for Energy and Environment at National Strategies, LLC since 2008. Previous roles include Senior Advisor at RIDGE-LANE Limited Partners from December 2015 to December 2022, and President of The Governors' Institute on Community Design and Smart Growth America's Leadership Institute until December 2022. Glendening's political career includes serving as the 59th Governor of Maryland from 1995 to 2003 and as County Executive of Prince George's County from 1982 to 1994.
