Peter Abadir

Peter Abadir serves as a Deputy Editor for the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society and is the Chair of the Johns Hopkins Medical School MD Admission Committee, both positions held since July 2024. Abadir has been an Associate Professor of Medicine (Geriatrics) and an Associate Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University since November 2016. Additionally, Abadir leads as Principal Investigator at the Johns Hopkins Artificial Intelligence & Technology Collaboratory for Aging Research and is the Director of both the Johns Hopkins GeroTech Incubators Program and the Johns Hopkins Postdoctoral Fellows Training Program on Translational Aging Research. Educational credentials include a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Geriatrics Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University, completed in 2009.
