Stephen Hwang

Stephen Hwang is a skilled bioinformatics professional with a solid background in biomolecular engineering and bioinformatics, holding both Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Currently serving as a Bioinformatics Intern at Tenaya Therapeutics, Stephen analyzes RNA-seq samples and implements workflows using R and BASH scripting. Experience includes co-captaining the UCSC iGEM Team, contributing to the Bernick Lab as an undergraduate researcher, and developing a machine learning bioinformatics pipeline in the Jae Hoon Sul Lab at UCLA.
