Terrance Smith is a professional with extensive experience in public innovation and strategic initiatives. Currently serving as a Bloomberg Public Innovation Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University, Smith developed the Trust Innovation Spectrum Framework and published research on trust in public innovation. Previously, as the Founding Director of the Office of Strategic Initiatives for the City of Mobile, Smith managed innovative solutions across city departments and maintained stakeholder relationships. With a background that includes roles such as Director of the Mayor's Innovation Team, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager/Civic Innovator, Smith has consistently focused on generating innovative solutions and improving operational performance. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Instructional Design & Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, both from the University of South Alabama.
