Steven Reeves

Steven Reeves joined Johnson Brothers in 2019 although his career in the hospitality industry began at Cornell University’s School of Hotel Management. After receiving his BS in 1997 he became the Assistant GM and Assistant Maitre d' of Le Circque restaurant in Manhattan. Steven received his JD from the University of Minnesota in 2004. After law school Steven worked in private practice, first at Gray Plant Mooty and then at Faegre & Benson (now Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP). Steven become a corporate partner at Faegre in 2013 where he gained significant expertise in cross border M&A and other complex commercial transactions. In 2017, Steven joined Optum, a UnitedHealth Group subsidiary, and helped them sell their Canadian EAP business unit to LifeWorks, a UK company, which he later joined in 2018 as General Counsel. LifeWorks was acquired by Morneau Shepell, a Canadian consulting company in 2018, and Steven stayed on as Vice President of Legal until joining Johnson Brothers as its General Counsel in 2019.
