Bryan Skene

Bryan Skene is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Johnson Controls since June 2022, Bryan oversees the deployment of Airwall technology, enhancing secure communications for critical infrastructure. Previously, Bryan held the position of CTO and VP of Product Development at Tempered Networks, where contributions led to the maturation of the Airwall product until its acquisition by Johnson Controls. Bryan's earlier roles include Director of Software Development at Tempered Networks, VP of Engineering at Simply Measured, and Director of Product Development at F5 Networks, where significant growth and innovation were achieved. Bryan started the professional journey as a Senior Software Engineer at NeoPath, Inc., and gained foundational skills as a Student Intern at Berkeley Lab. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Pre-Med from California State University, Northridge.
