Naveen Sharma

Naveen Sharma is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in security engineering and IT management. Currently serving as the Director of Security Engineering at Johnson Controls since January 2022, Naveen previously held the role of CIO/CISO at the Wisconsin Department of Justice from April 2015 to January 2022, where significant achievements included establishing a modernized IT system through Event-Driven Microservices Architecture and launching a comprehensive IT Security Program. Prior experience includes over 14 years at Lockheed Martin, where roles ranged from Systems Engineering Senior Manager to Staff Software Engineer, focusing on enterprise IT services and research and development for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Naveen's educational background comprises a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
