Doug Shagam

Doug Shagam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in people analytics and workforce planning. Currently serving as the Head of People Data and Insights and Director of Strategic Workforce Planning & Organizational Enablement at Johnson & Johnson since August 2018, Doug also contributes as Associate Faculty in the Human Capital Management Program at Columbia University and as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University and Lehigh University. Prior to these roles, Doug held multiple vice president positions at Nielsen, where significant achievements included enhancing talent mobility and reducing turnover through predictive analytics. Additional experience includes roles at Booz Allen Hamilton, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., BOMBARDIER, and GE, coupled with a solid academic foundation, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and an MBA in Finance from the University at Buffalo.
