Vicki Plaks

Vicki Plaks, LLB, PhD, is the Senior Scientific Director and Head of Cell Therapy, Oncology Translational Research at Johnson & Johnson. Previously, Vicki held leadership roles at AbbVie and Kite Pharma, where they specialized in CAR-T therapies and translational medicine, while also contributing to drug development and biomarker strategies at Genentech. Vicki has an extensive academic background, including postdoctoral research at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on breast cancer and immunology, and holds multiple degrees from institutions such as Tel Aviv University and the Weizmann Institute of Science. They have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and have actively mentored students throughout their career.
