Doug Hiteshew

Doug Hiteshew has extensive experience in healthcare IT and laboratory management, currently serving as a Senior Systems Analyst at Johnson Memorial Hospital since May 1995. Responsibilities include project management, NPR and SQL report writing, and serving as PACS and Meditech system administrator, along with troubleshooting various software and hardware issues. Previously, Doug held the position of Laboratory Supervisor at Good Samaritan Hospital from May 1989 to May 1995, where duties encompassed overseeing the purchase, installation, implementation, and maintenance of the Laboratory Computer System, as well as supervising Laboratory Phlebotomists and working as a Supervisory Medical Technologist. Doug Hiteshew holds a B.A. in Biology with a focus on Microbiology from UC San Diego and is a graduate student in the Microbiology Department at San Diego State University.
