Matt Foster

Matt Foster is an accomplished professional in civil engineering and project management, currently serving as Associate Vice President at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since January 2023. Previously, Matt held the same title at Vaughn & Melton - a JMT Company from October 2022 to January 2023. With extensive experience at HNTB spanning over a decade, Matt progressed from Project Manager to Hydraulic Section Manager, demonstrating expertise in developing and delivering Infrastructure Solutions across all phases of development. Additional roles include District Hydraulics Engineer at VDOT and Sr Project Manager at Lowe's Home Improvement, where Matt implemented a national Stormwater BMP program. Matt's career began with a Vice President role at DWBA and earlier engineering experience at HNTB. Educational credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University.
