Elizabeth Patton has extensive experience in the education field. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a Special Education Teacher at Harnett County Schools. Elizabeth then moved on to Johnston County Public Schools, where they held various roles. From 2011 to 2014, they taught 6th Grade Language Arts, and from 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Special Education Teacher. In 2016, they became an Assistant Principal at Smithfield Selma High School. Currently, they hold the position of Executive Director of Secondary Education at Johnston County Public Schools and will soon transition to the role of Principal.
Elizabeth Patton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Special Education from St. John Fisher University in 2009. In 2017, they completed their Master of School Administration degree in School Administration at North Carolina State University.
