8th Grade Science Teacher at Johnston Co Schools

Michael Williams, M.S. is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Science Teacher and Head Football Coach at Clayton Middle School within Johnston County Public Schools since August 2016. In addition, Michael holds the position of School Improvement Chair, facilitating monthly TAC meetings and collaborating with the principal to address quality council concerns. Previously, Michael taught 6th Grade Science and served in various teaching roles, including 8th Grade Math/Science Teacher and Teacher Assistant. With a background in environmental science and policy, Michael has worked as an Environmental Scientist and Policy Analyst, and contributed to educational projects with federal and state organizations. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University and holds a Teacher Licensure in Middle Grades Science from East Carolina University.
