Spencer Bateman

Spencer Bateman serves as Senior Counsel at Johnstone Supply since September 2025, bringing extensive experience in private equity and mergers and acquisitions from a position as Associate Attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP from December 2020 to September 2025. Prior roles include Research Assistant at Harvard's Center for International Development, Clinical Student at the Harvard International Human Rights Clinic, and Summer Associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP. Additionally, Spencer has gained valuable legal experience through a Judicial Externship at the U.S. District Court, a Legislative Internship at the California State Assembly, and a Government Affairs role with the Associated Students of the University of Arizona. Spencer holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Harvard Law School and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Finance from the University of Arizona.
