Shamsul Anuar Abd Majid

Shamsul Anuar Majid currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Johor Corporation since July 2017, focusing on group investments and strategies for a state-owned entity involved in various sectors including plantation, real estate, healthcare, and food. Prior to this role, Shamsul held several positions, including Special Officer to the Managing Director at Iskandar Waterfront Holdings and Executive Vice President of Strategy & Feasibility at Iskandar Investment Berhad, contributing to the development of Iskandar Malaysia. Early career experience includes working as an Energy Sector Specialist with The Boston Consulting Group and as a Planning and Appraisal Analyst with Shell Malaysia. Shamsul holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry from Imperial College London and has completed multiple executive education programs in finance, strategic innovation, digital transformation, and change management, accompanied by a Chartered Financial Analyst designation and an MBA in Islamic Finance from International Islamic University Malaysia.
