Samir Bhakta

Samir Bhakta has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Samir is currently the Medical Director at Join Parachute, where they oversee laboratory and donation operations. Samir ensures compliance with FDA and CLIA regulations and maintains high standards of safety and quality assurance. Prior to this role, they worked as a Utilization Review Consultant at Concentra and as a Physician at Bridgeside Telehealth. Samir also has experience as a Medical Writer at Lecturio Medical and as a Course content creator and teacher for Continuing Medical Education Courses. In addition, they have worked as an Attending Anesthesiologist at various institutions including Kaiser Permanente, WESTSIDE ANESTHESIA SERVICES, and Cedars-Sinai. Samir has also completed a fellowship in Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine at Cedars-Sinai. Prior to their clinical roles, they worked as an Anesthesiology Resident at the University of Illinois at Chicago and as a Research Assistant at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Samir Bhakta completed their Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from The University of Kansas in 2009. Samir then went on to attend the University of Kansas Medical Center from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Samir Bhakta has also obtained several certifications, including Physician and Surgeon (Allopathic - M.D.) from the Texas Medical Board and the Medical Board of California. Samir is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
