Julia Smelansky

Julia Smelansky has a vast work experience in the field of design. Julia started their career as an Art Director at Awesome - a Deloitte business in 2015. From there, they worked as an Experience Designer at AVO until October 2018 and then joined Designit as an Experience Designer. At Designit, Julia worked on large innovative projects as part of an experience design team, focusing on every step from research to execution, QA, and testing. Julia then moved on to work as a Product Designer at Colu from March 2019 to December 2019. In the same year, they also worked as a Brand and Experience expert at both IndieFlow and Happy Things. Julia later joined OpenWeb as a Senior Visual & Product Designer in December 2019 and worked there until June 2021. Following that, they joined Bizzabo as a Product Designer until February 2023. Currently, Julia is working as a Senior Product Designer at Daisy since February 2023. Prior to their various roles in different companies, they also worked as a Freelance Designer and Illustrator at juljuljuljuljul.com since October 2017.

Julia Smelansky attended Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Design degree in Design and Visual Communications. In addition, they have earned certifications in various subjects, including "The Science of Well-Being" from Coursera in September 2018, "Product Design" from Netcraft Academy in June 2017, and a "B.des" certification from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in June 2010.
