Tinashe Ruzane

Tinashe Ruzane has extensive work experience in various leadership and business development roles. Tinashe is currently the CEO and Co-founder of FlexClub since November 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Uber, starting in March 2015. At Uber, they held multiple positions, including Head of Vehicle Solutions (EMEA) from June 2017 to November 2018, where they led the Vehicle Solutions team in EMEA, focusing on increasing access to vehicles for Uber driver-partners. Tinashe also served as the Vehicle Solutions Regional Program Manager (MEA) from November 2016 to June 2017, and as an Operations Business Development associate for Sub-Saharan Africa from March 2015 to November 2016. Before their tenure at Uber, Tinashe worked at the Awethu Project, where they held the position of Head of Business Development & Special Projects from January 2014 to March 2015, and as an Incubation Coach from February 2013 to January 2014. Tinashe also worked at Deloitte as a Senior Strategy & Innovation Consultant from February 2011 to February 2013.

Tinashe Ruzane completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting Sciences at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2004 to 2007. In 2009, they attended the GIBS Business School (Gordon Institute of Business Science) where they pursued an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship, which they completed in 2010. During the same year, they also participated in an exchange program at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they obtained another MBA.
