Rekha Kumar, M.D, M.S has a diverse work experience. Rekha is currently working with Found as part of the Medical Affairs team since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Duke Global Health Institute starting from February 2020. From July 2012, Dr. Kumar was an Associate Professor at Weill Cornell Medicine. Rekha began their career as an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in July 2007. Additionally, Dr. Kumar served as the Medical Director at the American Board of Obesity Medicine from November 2017 until November 2021.

Rekha Kumar, M.D, M.S, began their education in 1998 at Duke University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Rekha studied at Duke until 2002.

After completing their undergraduate studies, in 2002, Rekha joined Georgetown University School of Medicine to pursue a Master of Science degree in Physiology, General. Their time at Georgetown lasted until 2003.

In 2003, Rekha enrolled at New York Medical College, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine degree in Medicine. Rekha's medical education lasted until 2007, as they graduated from New York Medical College.
