Mia Wesselkamper

Mia Wesselkamper is an accomplished undergraduate researcher and business analyst currently affiliated with the Joint BioEnergy Institute and the USDA, where contributions include bioproducts research. As an active member of the UC Berkeley Phoenix Consulting Group, Mia has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Advisor and President, overseeing projects related to MicroByre and significant biotech clients like Pfizer and Nvidia. Previous internships at Shellworks and Again focused on biomaterials and strain development, respectively, complemented by valuable experience as a research technician and veterinary technician assistant. Mia's academic background includes pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Bioengineering and Business Administration at UC Berkeley, supplemented by recognition as a co-founder of a virtual election platform for 4-H clubs during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing strong leadership and community impact skills.
