Travis Dettmer

Travis Dettmer, MPS, CHEP, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Strategic Communications at the George C. Marshall Center, where responsibilities include assisting the policy executive in planning and implementing communications programs aligned with the Center's mission. Additionally, Travis acts as an Adjunct Professor at the Joint Special Operations University. Prior experience includes managing communications for the PACT Act at BDR Solutions LLC and directing public affairs for the 7th Infantry Division in the U.S. Army, among various strategic communications roles within NATO and the U.S. Army. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s in Geopolitics and Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
