Jokake’s Need:
Jokake Construction Services is looking for an Accounting Administrator who is an enthusiastic partner who ignites positive solutions through passion for their work and assisting in the financial management of the company. This position is perfect for someone with the related experience who is detailed oriented, organized and a positive team player.

Jokake’s goal is to be the complete real estate solution for our customers. The Accounting Administrator assists in achieving this goal by executing accounting services and providing support and customer service to the Accounting Department and Operations.

These skills along with a diverse knowledge of the industry and a client-focused approach, ensures the Accounting Administrator will successfully meet the needs of our clients, partners and Jokake.

Accounting Administrator’s Skillset & Experience:
• Minimum of three years of experience in a construction related Accounting position.
• Accounting related degree preferred but not required in lieu of years of experience.
• Experience with construction related accounting is a plus.
• Knowledge of payroll, general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• The ability to manage processes and follow standardized workflows.
• Willing and able to identify process improvements and proactively develop solutions.
• Motivated, proactive, and detailed oriented.
• Collaborative with a customer service mentality.

Accounting Services – Subcontractor:
• Manages flow of subcontractor and supplier invoices in Sage Paperless.
• Provides initial and ongoing training in Sage Paperless to the operations team.
• Manages invoices and payments in for proper coding, in Sage Paperless and Sage 300.
• Partners with the Controller to maintain and enforce subcontractor compliance.
• Partners with the Controller on release of retention and invoice payment based on cash received.
• Manages the check release process, including waivers and the check register.
• Communicates effectively with subcontractors and Jokake’s project team regarding the payment process.
• Processes cash receipts, deposits checks, records cash receipt receivable.
• Coordinates with Controller regarding the accounting cycle to ensure invoices and payments are recorded properly.

Accounting Services - Administrative:
• Manages credit card payments, overhead, vendor, and material supplier’s related invoices in Sage Paperless.
• Sets up jobs in Sage 300 and manage Sage Paperless routing rules per Operations’ requests.
• Sets up billing schedule when requested from the Operations team.
• Posts owner billings.
• Coordinate file archives and file storage.
• Collect, index and enter new subcontractor certificates of insurance into Sage 300 and Sage Paperless.
• Run credit checks on subcontractor.
• Verify contractor's license.
• Review EMOD and MOD rating.
• Collect and maintain insurance certificates.

Accounting Administrator’s Technical Competencies:
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiar with accounting related software. Experience with Sage and timberline is a plus.
• The ability to manage internal and external projects of various sizes.
• Experience managing processes and procedures.

Jokake Provides:
• A generous salary ranging from $50,000 - $57,000 depending on experience and skillset
