Gonzalo Pozo

Co-Founder & CEO, South LATAM at Jokr

Gonzalo Pozo is the co-founder and CEO of South LATAM at Jokr. Gonzalo has over fifteen years of experience in various industries including aviation, hospitality, pricing strategy and analytics, and mentoring startups.

Pozo began their career in the aviation industry working for LATAM Airlines. During their time with the company, they held various positions including international head of revenue management and transoceanic network. In 2017, they left LATAM Airlines to pursue their MBA at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

After receiving their MBA, Pozo took on the role of head of pricing strategy and analytics at Banco de Crédito BCP. Gonzalo then left BCP to join OYO as their Brazil commercial officer and LATAM revenue innovation head. In this position, they were responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies, managing growth, and overseeing marketing and distribution channels.

In 2020, Pozo became a business mentor at Endeavor. Gonzalo currently mentors startups in Peru and is also an external jury for Start Up Peru 2020.

Gonzalo Pozo graduated from Universidad de Piura with an Industrial and Systems Engineering degree. Gonzalo then went on to Stanford University to earn their Master’s in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business. After working for a few years, they decided to further their education by obtaining a certificate in Driving Corporate Performance from Harvard Business School Executive Education. Gonzalo also has a certificate in Leadership Training for High Potentials from the NYU Stern School of Business. In addition, Gonzalo Pozo has a certification in Python from the University of Michigan.

They are on a team with Piotr Lagowski - Co-Founder & CEO, Poland, Alyssa DiGirolamo - Chief of Staff to Founder & CEO, and Tyler Trerotola - Co-Founder & CEO, US. Their manager is Ralf Wenzel, CEO & Co-Founder.
