Dennis Courneyea has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Dennis began their career as a Trust Accountant at Canadian Financial Data Services in 1998. Dennis then moved to UPS in 2000, where they held various roles including TSG Technician, Software Developer, and Software Development Supervisor until 2013.
In 2013, they joined Architech as a Java Developer and worked on two projects, leading the development of back-end systems for an internal application. Dennis stayed with Architech until 2015.
From 2015 to 2019, Dennis worked at AppCentrica Inc. as a Senior Developer. Dennis worked on multiple projects involving new application development and legacy application maintenance using a variety of Java technologies, SQL databases, and web services. Aside from programming, they also collaborated closely with clients, IT operations, BA's, and managers to clarify requirements, support acceptance testing, and prepare release deployments.
Dennis is currently working at Jonah Group as a Senior Technical Developer, a position they have held since 2019.
Dennis Courneyea pursued their higher education by attending the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1998. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering. Subsequently, in 1998, Dennis enrolled at Humber College and completed a diploma in Computer Programming in 1999.
