Manie G. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Manie is currently the Head Of Manufacturing at Jonsson Workwear, with responsibility for all manufacturing assets and specialized projects. Previously, they served as a Snr. Operations Manager at TFG, overseeing a large apparel manufacturing facility. Manie also had their own business in engineering and manufacturing of trailers, where they designed and manufactured bespoke trailers. Manie has worked as a Consultant and Project Manager, providing project management and business development services. Additionally, Manie held positions as a Group Industrial Engineering Executive at Seardel Investment Corp Ltd and a Continuous Change Manager at Seardel Investment Group. Earlier in their career, they worked as a General Manager at Baisch Engineering and as a Business Unit Leader at Michelin.

Manie G. completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Manie later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Strategy at Lansbridge University, from 2006 to 2009. In 2019, they attended the Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies, where they obtained three diplomas. The diplomas were focused on the "Future of Manufacturing," "Green Manufacturing," and "Lean Supply Chain Studies."
