Augusto Galego

Augusto Galego started their professional career in 2016 as an intern at Sesc, where they developed software for barcode reading systems and worked on payment processing and website frontend. In 2017, they interned at UFSC, contributing to a system that controls automated electricity generating kites.

In 2018, Augusto worked as an intern at JB3 Investimentos.

Starting in 2019, they joined Predictus as a Backend Developer. At Predictus, Augusto developed web scrapers and crawlers in Java and Python, as well as data analysis applications in Python.

From 2021 to 2022, Augusto worked as a Backend Software Engineer at Jungle Devs. Augusto developed, maintained, and improved a full-fledged SaaS using Django and AWS. Augusto also built serverless microservices using Node, CDK (AWS), and Typescript.

In 2022, Augusto joined Great Big Events as a Software Engineer, where they worked until 2023.

Currently, Augusto is working as a Software Engineer at JOOR since March 2023.

Augusto Galego attended Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina from 2014 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sistemas de Informação. In addition to their degree, they completed a certification in Financial Markets (with Honors) from Coursera in March 2018.
