Yazan al-Sharif

Yazan Al-Sharif, MSc., brings a diverse background in energy management and operations excellence. Currently serving as a Forward Learner at McKinsey & Company since May 2024, Yazan has held significant roles at Jordan Oil Terminals Company (JOTC) as an Operations Excellence Engineer and Strategic Planning Committee Coordinator since October 2021. Responsibilities include executing corporate strategic plans and developing emergency response protocols. As Co-Founder and CEO of a startup, Yazan implemented AI and IoT technologies in aquaponics to enhance production efficiency. Experience also includes a leadership role in the Hult Prize competition and research positions focused on energy efficiency and renewable energy systems. Educational qualifications encompass a Master's degree in Oil & Gas with Energy Management from the University of East London, complemented by an Erasmus Year at Leipzig University and a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from German Jordanian University.
